Printmaking is a rewarding and challenging art form that enables even beginners to achieve great results from simple beginnings

With experienced tutor and artist Jackie Shackson, students will be taught a range of printmaking techniques including Collagraph and Linocuts.

Printmaking workshops are run on an individual basis so you can pick a date and in your three hour session you should achieve a series of prints to be proud of. All materials are included as is use of the printing press.

Printmaking: Collagraph, Linocuts and Monoprint

 with  Artist tutor Jackie Shackson. Create beautiful images using artists quality materials, and come away with a series of handmade prints of your own design. £45 including materials and use of the press.  Selected Saturdays,  see dates below. Three hour workshops from 1.15pm-4.15pm. Suitable for beginners and Improvers. 

Collagraph printmaking is a versatile, sensitive pint form where you can transform your designs into beautiful handmade prints, built from an etched plate with collage additions to create incredible texture and tone.

Linocuts is the modern form of woodblock engraving, but forget that tough old lino from your schooldays! Try carving into artist's quality lino which is smooth and easy, and create powerful; images with high contrast.

New: Monoprinting. the most painterly method among printmaking techniques, essentially a printed painting, and no two prints are alike. A sponaneous form of pintmaking combining drawing and painting media.
