We are proud to have a dedicated team of artists creating bespoke courses in their respective disciplines. Owner and Art Workshop founder Genevieve Loxton is an award winning first class honours graduate of Cardiff School of Art and Design, specialising in Fine Art Painting. She has taught classical and contemporary Drawing and Oil Painting at all levels to a wide range of students. She was previously an award winning BBC producer.

Kate Lowry teaches our watercolour courses and is a qualified paintings conservator with forty years experience of working in major UK museums. She has an in-depth knowledge of artists’ materials and techniques about which she has taught and published. As an artist she specialises in producing landscapes and still-life in watercolour and mixed media.

Petra Couper is a fine art graduate and has thirty years teaching experience in schools in Cardiff runs the thriving Junior Academy for children age 7-12. She is an accomplished artist specialising in Acrylics, and hosts our adult Acrylics courses .

Imogen Lee is a first-class honours graduate in Contemporary Arts Practice and experienced children’s art tutor working in secondary education. She is a popular and dedicated member of our Junior Academy team of tutors

Karen O’Shea Is an award-winning Textile and Mixed media artist, with wide experience of delivering Textile and Mixed media programmes.

Bill Chambers, a graduate of Chelsea Art College, is a specialist printmaker, formerly a tutor at Cardiff School of Art and Design and qualified to teach all ages in a wide range of printmaking techniques.

Hollie Roberts is an honours Art graduate, majoring in Illustration at Bath School of Art and Design, and a PGCE qualified teacher working in Primary education. Hollie develops our programme of Creative Kids Holiday Workshops.

Alfie Stone and Rhiannon Hazell are our two hard working student assistants.
